The course is split into 3 stages that cover all the topics that need to be learned in order to pass the driving test.
There are 22 items to cover. However your course is designed to be flexible, we can spend less time on the topics you are good at and more time on the topics where you need more practice.

Theory Preparation
It’s vital to prepare for your theory test: there’s a lot to learn about the rules of the road. The better prepared you are, the more likely you are to pass first time, which will save you the time and money that retaking the test will cost.

There are two parts to the test:

the multiple choice part
-
the hazard perception part.
Automatic Gear
As there is no clutch pedal an automatic car may be easier for some people to drive, especially on more congested city roads.
And if you are having difficulties managing the gears in a manual car you may find automatic driving lessons can be a faster route to your licence.
Some people just prefer automatic transmissions to avoid frequent gear changes.

Pass Plus
Pass Plus is a practical training course that takes at least 6 hours and is for drivers to improve their skills and drive more safely.
​
It can be taken at any time although it should be most useful to new drivers in the year after passing their test.
​
You’ll need a Pass Plus registered approved driving instructor (ADI) to teach you.

It may help you get a car insurance discount if you successfully complete the course!
